From a series on Egyptian mummies in Cairo to a documentary on our financial system, Ancient Aliens™, majestic national parks with sweeping visuals, reality TV, and crime shows; many programs on television utilize in-show narration.

How do we approach this work? How do you do auditions for it? Why is a "cold open" different than the rest of the show?

In this workshop, we’ll cover various genres of in-show narration for television, how the approaches are different for each type, what producers look for when casting VO talent, the best way to prepare for the job once you land it, and talk about storytelling, which is at the heart of every genre (and to be honest, every VO job or audition).

Join coach Dustin Ebaugh, narrator of Investigation Discovery’s “Crimes Gone Viral” on this journey to discover the intricacies and nuances of in-show narration. Every participant will get a chance to read and receive feedback on an in-show narration script.
